CONGRATS ON YOUR 28th - KAREN PECK GOOCH!
It wasn't her 28th birthday.. it was a celebration of 28 years in full-time ministry (she started when she was 1).  Karen Peck Gooch of Karen Peck & New River sends out a very special "thanks" to Leslie Chastain and Pastor Bill Stacy for a great concert last Thursday night in Carnesville, GA.  During the event.. Karen was presented with several plaques, gifts and letters commemorating the 28 year achievment. Karen says: "The greatest moment of the night was when Jeff and Sheri Easter surprised me on stage and presented me with a plaque.  They also presented me with a recorded message from Bill Gaither."

L5 TO OFFER DIGITAL DOWNLOADS ON GROUP'S WEBSITE
In the latest Legacy 5 newsletter..  the group's popular feature.. "L5 Q&A" poses a question about music for sale online.  A fan asks if the guys will be offering digital downloads,.. directly from their website.

L5 says: "We're actually putting together the digital download option as we speak. It should be up and running in the next few weeks. Artists have been slow to offer this option because of the technical difficulty of setting it up on the website, but we've recently purchased the special software to make downloads available right from the webstore."

NEW PFEIFERS CD - UPDATE
The Pfeifers report that they have started working on a new CD project. Earlier this year,.. the group met with producer Steve Mauldin.. and picked songs.  Candy Pfeifer says: "We listen to hundreds of songs through the year and try to narrow it down to about twenty or so when we meet with Steve.  We feel like the material is very strong and will be a blessing to all of you.  In picking songs, they have to minister to us in a personal way before we can minister to you.  Many times the songs are indicative of where we are in our lives."

Candy adds that the group cut tracks back in March.. and were back in the studio last week working on the CD.  No word yet.. as to the exact date of release.

INNERFIRE REACHES PROMOTION AGREEMENT WITH RICK HENDRIX COMPANY
InnerFire is announcing the nationwide release of their debut single, “Take ‘em to the Lord” through the Rick Hendrix Company. When asked about the group.. Hendrix said: "My office has been a buzz since we first heard InnerFire. I don't think I have been this excited about a group since the Crabb Family crossed my path 12 years ago. Amazing sound!"

The single comes from InnerFire's self-titled album produced by Kevin Ward. It provides a variety of musical styles that will appeal to broad range of listeners and is well suited for the goals of their ministry, which is to urge believers and non-believers to a new and deeper walk with Jesus Christ.
