11 NEW SONGS AND A FEW SUPRISES
SGReporter talked with Woody Wright this week.. about his new CD, scheduled for release later this year. Woody says he just cut tracks for a new project that features 11 new original songs. At this point.. details are still being worked out, so no names are being mentioned. However, Wright tells us there will be some special guests on the album: "One song will be a quartet comprised of me and three of my heroes. Another will feature members of a well known Quartet. Yet another song will feature harmony from one of Country and Gospel Music's most beloved singer/songwriters.. and various tunes will include folks I have worked with off and on for many years."
Musicians on the new CD include: Gary Prim, Brent Mason, Paul Franklin, Duncan Mullins, Lonnie Wilson and Biff Watson. Woody says the tracks they provided are "unbelievably great."
