SOLO CD FROM CHRIS UNTHANK.. LATER THIS YEAR
Chris Unthank, a member of Sunday Edition, and co-founder of SSE Group, Inc., is in the studio recording his debut solo album. Chris said, “Words can not describe how excited I am about finally recording this solo record.  This has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager.” Unthank has been recording hand selected songs for the new album at Square One Studio in Franklin, Tennessee.

The new album, tentatively titled Love the Light, is being self-produced by Chris Unthank along with Steve Allen. Chris also co-wrote three songs on the project. The album, as well, will showcase songs written by Rebecca J. Peck, Joel Lindsey, Ronnie Freeman, Donna M. Beauvais, Steven Cheney, Tony Wood, Amy Marie Unthank, and others. “I really feel like God just placed these songs in my lap – songs that have a timeless message yet are stated in a very modern way,” said Chris.  “Some of these are songs people are familiar with, but most are not.  I’m excited that God is allowing me this opportunity.”

Press information says.. Love the Light will feature a mix of styles, including everything from pop to country and Black Gospel to Southern Gospel.  The album will feature a duet with Unthank’s sister, Amy Marie Unthank.  In addition, The Imperials will be making a guest appearance.
