Beckie Simmons (BSA Agency).. passes along some information from St John's Hospital in Springfield, MO. Beckie, exclusive booking agent for Dottie Rambo,.. says she talked with Judy Ferguson, the wife of Rambo's manager.. Larry Ferguson., there is encouraging
news!

Simmons says product manager/webmaster, Chris Barnes.. is improving and has just started blinking his eyes. Surgery will follow as soon as he is physically able. Bus driver, Ronnie Meadows.. is beginning to respond and is writing notes to communicate. Following surgery.. Larry Ferguson is in need of complete bed rest for the next few days. He'll undergo an additional surgery within the next few weeks.
 
Beckie says that all want to convey their thanks to everyone for their prayers. She adds: "The families of those hospitalized are staying in nearby hotels. The extra expense of travel, hotels, eating out, hospital expense, etc. is mounting; so, along with your prayers, contributions of any size would be greatly appreciated."
 
Friends have established a fund, in the name of Larry Ferguson,.. at the Citizens National Bank in Springfield, Mo., to help with expenses. Your continued prayers and support are greatly appreciated.

DOTTIE RAMBO - THE FINAL INTERVIEW
AIRS ON THE GOSPEL MUSIC CHANNEL
According to PR information from the Gospel Music Channel,.. what is believed to be Dottie Rambo's last public interview will be seen in the newest episode of GMC television network's biography series Faith & Fame. The original version of Faith & Fame: Dottie Rambo, which premiered on the network April 26th, has now been re-edited.. as a tribute to the gospel music legend. The new program reflects her untimely passing.
 
This new version of Faith & Fame: Dottie Rambo will premiere Sat. May 17 at 2pm (ET) and will be aired again on Monday. May 19 at 9pm (ET/PT). Faith & Fame is GMC's original behind the music biography series featuring Gospel artists sharing stories of their lives, family, music and faith.

Marlin Taylor..  head programmer at XM Radio's enlighten 34.. says least two XM show hosts are currently producing Dottie Rambo tribute/memorial specials. Broadcast times and dates for "Dottie" programs, from Dan Dixon and Daniel Britt, will be announced soon.

Crossroads Entertainment announces that Cross 4 Crowns has signed a distribution agreement with the company.  Group baritone Allen Leath says: "As of late, we have really had a desire to take our efforts to the masses, realizing we needed a lot of help to do that. We never envisioned that we would have an opportunity to work with a company like Crossroads Entertainment.  We are truly excited to have this distribution agreement with them.”
 
Chris White of Crossroads states, “There are a lot of good quartets out there today but, it is still difficult to find great ones like these guys.  We’re always looking for those artists that can make a solid contribution for the future for our business and I believe that Cross 4

ANOTHER PARKER IN THE QUARTET
Arise Quartet announced this week that Chris Parker will be the group's new bass singer. Chris joins his father, baritone singer Charlie Parker, and his brother, tenor Brendan Parker, in the quartet.  The lead singer for Arise Qt is Mitchell Dixon.
 
Chris' first concert with Arise will be May 31 in Pikeville, NC.
