DOVE AWARDS PRE-SHOW AND BACKSTAGE ON INTERNET
GodTube.com will broadcast the GMA Dove Awards' "pre-telecast" awards and provide live backstage press room coverage.. April 23rd, 2008.  GodTube.com's exclusive coverage begins at 5:30PM EST from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Sources say that Mike & Kelly Bowling are scheduled to serve as presnters during the pre-telecast.
 
The family friendly,.. online social networking and media sharing community will offer exclusive artist interviews, behind the scenes action and other footage. The special backstage press room coverage will be available online throughout the Dove Awards' telecast.  
GodTube.com's online broadcast will include the presentation of more than 30 (pre telecast) Dove Awards and exclusive performances. Visitors to the GodTube.com site will also be able to interact with other users while viewing the live broadcast.

SOUTHERN GOSPEL MEETS AMERICAN IDOL
The Quicks recently appeared with American Idol finalist, Phil Stacey. The group was in concert at Hendersonville Church of God, on Sunday April 13.. when, to their surprise,.. Stacey was leading praise and worship before the concert.  Phil's dad, Gary Stacey, is pastor at the church.

Sally Quick said: "We expected to meet his brother, Keith, who is the minister of music at the church. What a surprise to find Phil filling in for his brother who was sick that day! I have to admit that I had not watched that season of American Idol and didn't know who he was, but I know talent when I see it, and I also know anointing when I see it. The whole Stacey family was a blessing to us."
 
Phil Stacey appeared on season six of American Idol,.. and made it into the top six before being eliminated on May 2, 2007.

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST
WTS MEDIA'S LARRY RUSSELL TO HAVE SURGERY TODAY
Larry Russell, sales manager at WTS Media,.. is undergoing surgery at noon today in a Chattanooga hospital. Russell is battling cancer.
 
According to Larry's website.. he was diagnosed with Carcinoma of Unknown Primary on Feb.27th this year. He was scheduled for surgery on March 26th to remove the tumor. On March 25th, the evening prior to his surgery, he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the local ER. The surgery had to be postponed.
 
Larry Russell has many friends and customers in the SG industry.. his company has handled product duplication duties for several artists.

CORNIE TALLEY HEALTH UPDATE
Kirk & Roger Talley's mother,.. Cornie was in the hospital again this past week. According to Kirk's latest newsletter to fans.. his mom was taken to the hospital emergency room after experiencing chest pains. Two days of testing has revealed that Mrs. Talley has an enlarged heart. Kirk says: "She didn't have a heart attack, the discomfort she was feeling was due to the enlarged heart that we didn't know about. So please keep her in your prayers."
 
Cornie spent several days in the hospital following a car accident late last year. She was in the vehicle with her husband R.C., at the time if the mishap.  Mr Talley was not seriously injured.. but Cornie suffered a lacerated liver, two fractures of the spine and internal bleeding.
