SGMG's Harmony Honors will take place on Tuesday, April 22nd at 7pm (cst), during GMA wekk,.. in the Ballroom at the downtown Nashville Hilton. The event will honor the Top 10 Songs with Harmony Honors’ certificates going to artist, writers and publishers.
 
 
 
Additional info: The all star line-up of Honorees is set to include Southern Gospel favorites Gerald Wolfe, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Austin’s Bridge, the Crabb Family, Mark Lowry, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, the Isaacs, Jeff & Sheri Easter, the Oak Ridge Boys, Lari Goss, the Hoppers, Karen Peck & New River, the Talley Trio, Janet Paschal, Brian Free & Assurance, Lillie Knauls, the Lewis Family, Bill Gaither & Homecoming Friends, the Dove Brothers, the Whisnants, Three Bridges, Legacy Five, the McKameys and the McRaes.
 
A special Harmony Spotlight Artists’ segment will include the Tribute Quartet, Mike & Kelly Bowling, the Collingsworth Family and Gordon Mote. The evening will be hosted by Jeff Easter and Karen Peck Gooch.

ONE DAY SINGING SCHOOL IN ARKANSAS
This Saturday (04/19/08) the Northwest Arkansas Gospel Singers Association will be hosting a one-day singing school at the Eastside Christian Union Church in Springdale. The event will take place from 10am until 3pm.
 
Rudiments of music, shape note singing and directing classes will be offered in the morning and a time of group singing will be held in the afternoon.  For additional information call Mrs. Virginia Squires at 479-876-6210,.. or Suzanne Graham at 479-789-2813.

CROSSWAY CANCELS TEXAS
Fans hoping to see CrossWay in Texas this weekend,.. will need to make other plans. The group has announced that they are forced to cancel their "Lone Start State" appearances due to circumstances beyond their control.  In a newsletter CW says: "We have done absolutely everything to avoid having to make this decision, but family obligations have taken precedence.  We want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment that this may have brought anyone."

CrossWay says they were truly looking forward to this weekend and they hope to reschedule in the near future.
