In an official press release.. Rick Hendrix says he thinks the new Oak Ridge Boys single release will: "..do amazing at radio and retail!" Hendrix has announce that his company has reached a radio promotions agreement with the group.. and he adds: "I am excited to see these guys make a return to the Southern Gospel charts after 30 years."
The Oak Ridge Boys' new single.. "Didn't it Rain" is from the Spring Hill Records' album "Front Row Seats."

The 2008 SGN Scoops’ Diamond Awards will take place on Friday, September 12, in Louisville, Kentucky during the week of the National Quartet Convention. The program will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is free to the public.

SG PROMOTER PASSES
Reports say Ed Fastnacht of Midlands Promotions went home to be with the Lord Tuesday. A few weeks ago,.. Ed was hospitalized after suffering a stroke. "Mr. Ed" was one of the premiere Gospel Music promoters in the upper Midwest.. and worked closely with many Southern Gospel groups over the years.
The viewing will be held this Sunday (04/13) from 2 - 4pm at the Cutler O'Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The funeral will be held at the same location on Monday (04/14) at 3pm.
Please keep the Fastnacht family in your prayers during this time of loss.
