SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST FOR FRANK SEAMANS JR
L5 TENOR SHARES SON'S HEALTH UPDATE
In
the latest Legacy Five newsletter.. tenor singer, Frank Seamans
shares.. what he calls "discouraging news" about his son's battle with
Hodgkins Lymphoma. Seamans, recently, had been excited to report that
Frank Jr. (in his early 20s) was doing very well and the cancer seemed to have surrendered
to chemotherapy treatments. His prognosis was very good. Earlier
this week, during what was supposed to be a simple consultation with
the radiologist.. doctors reluctantly broke the news that Frank Jr. has
relapsed. The lymphoma has aggressively started growing again.
Frank Sr says: "I must admit our cheer
has been dampened by
the reality of what we're now facing... but I still find
myself feeling very grateful. I'm overwhelmed with
thankfulness when I consider the relationship we
have with a wonderful God that has been with us
from the
start. I simply don't know how people face something
like this without faith in a loving and merciful God. But then there's you, the wonderful folks that
support
Gospel Music and Legacy Five. All my precious
friends who have lifted up prayers for Frank Jr. and
sent words of encouragement. We have been so
blessed to receive the outpouring of love from all of
you. May God open the Windows of Heaven to you for
your demonstration of generosity and
compassion."
Seamans adds that the next step, for Frank Jr.. is a stem cell
transplant with a much more aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
