SG PRODUCER GLEN BATES.. BACK ON THE STAGE
Most SG industry friends know that BSA World Music record producer.. and noted songwriter Glen Bates was once a staff writer for Glen Campbell Music. He also performed with the Grand Ole Opry background group, the Carol Lee Singers. In addition to his invlovement in Southern Gospel Music with The Tennesseans and The Downings,.. Glen sang with The Four Guys, ..and was a regular on the Grand Ole Opry until 2000.
Now comes the news that The Four Guys are set to reacquaint themselves with some old familiar stages and perhaps find a few new ones along the way. Glen Bates, Sam Wellington, John Frost and Gary Buck are expected to work several engagements during the June, 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The Four Guys will also make selected appearances both in and out of country music including corporate events, cruises and the Nevada entertainment circuit,.. all arenas where The Four Guys once headlined.
