NEW PSQ KEYBOARD PLAYER
It's a time of change for the Palmetto State Qt,.. and the addition of Casey Martin as their keyboardist is the latest news. According to a press release.. Casey has performed with such artists as Al Jarreau, Angela Winbush and most recently toured with Ivan Parker and Janet Paschal. His background consists of jazz and Contemporary Christian Music, but he admits that the music that has most touched him is Southern Gospel.NEW PSQ KEYBOARD PLAYER
Martin has not only accepted the position with PSQ, but says he feels God’s absolute calling to this group and ministry. Reports reveal that, at PSQ’s nightly performances, Casey ministers with his testimony and words of encouragement followed by a saxophone solo that captivates the audience. The PR goes on to say the group is.. "thankful to have such a remarkable, anointed black brother in the quartet. The body of Christ is greatly diverse, but PSQ recognizes that we all serve the same God and are all part of the family of God." PSQ's Brian Beatty says: "Casey is truly a God send. He is simply the most advanced and tasteful keyboardist I have ever heard."
The current Palmetto State Qt line up includes: Kerry Beatty, Brian Beatty (Kerry’s brother), Larry Strickland, who sang with J.D. Sumner & the Stamps for six years, along with Jeremy Calloway, tenor from Owensboro, KY.
