FORMER ANCHORMER OWNER RAY BULLARD DIES
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED
Former long time owner of The Anchormen, Ray Bullard, passed away Friday afternoon in Goldsboro, NC at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Ray was admitted to the hospital several days ago,.. he took a turn for the worse after suffering a stroke last week. Tim Bullins, current Anchormen owner and Bullard's business partner and long time friend, asks all of Ray's friends to remember his family in your prayers.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 7 p.m.at the Goldsboro Worship Center located
at 900 New Hope Road in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Visitation will immediately follow. The Worship Center hosted several Anchormen reunion concerts over the last few years.
In lieu of flowers, the Anchormen and the Bullard family have put in place a trust fund. Financial memorials may be made to:

EDITOR'S COMMENT:
I knew Ray Bullard for about 25 years. He was more than just a SG friend to me.. We had more than just a business relationship. Ray, Glen Carter, Tim Bullins and Terry Carter and I have had some great times. Some of the most fun I ever had was on the Anchormen bus. We would laugh and laugh! Then we had serious times too,.. and cared about each other like brothers. Even when I was away from the industry for several years.. Ray still called just to see how I was doing. He was that kind of man.
Ray Bullard was one of the people I always wanted to see at NQC.. He would drive us 50 miles out
of Louisville.. at 2am.. just to get something good to eat. I will miss him at NQC.
Ray put 100s of thousands of dollars into the Anchormen.. yet he lived a humble, simple life himself. I've known times when Ray did without, so he could pay other gospel groups bills. He was just that kind of man. Ray Bullard truly was one of the good guys in the business.
Ray.. I miss you already.
