JOHN LANIER HOSTS NEW TV SHOW
Vocalist, evangelist and co-owner / Executive Editor of the Christian Voice Magazine, John Lanier, is beginning a new venture,.. as the host of his own TV show titled, "The John Lanier Show". The weekly, half-hour program is a variety talk show featuring local and nationally known speakers, musicians, authors, comedians and singers.
On the premier of The John Lanier Show, February 7th, the host is reunited with former singing companions Tony Gore and Calvin Thornton. The trio reminisces about their early days in gospel music and performs a few of the hits they made popular as the original Tony Gore & Majesty. The first four programs were taped earlier this month. A second taping is scheduled for February 15th. Shows are being recorded before a studio audience, so the public is invited to come and be a part of the video taping. "This is something I have wanted to do for a long time," John shares. "But I believe this is God’s timing! It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity."
The show will debut on Alabama's WSSF TV 48, a TBN affiliate and WSFG TV 51, a Daystar Network affiliate. Other stations and cable and satellite networks will begin airing the show in the near future.
