In a letter to fans,.. posted on the Gaither website,.. Bill Gaither says he is: "Excited about all that 2008 holds!" Mr."G" reports that the Vocal Band has been in the studio putting finishing touches on a new project, which will release on April 15. Bill shares: "On this recording, we have reinvented some of our favorite songs and have found some new ones that will blow you away! In all seriousness, I couldn't be prouder of these fine young men and the sounds they are
producing together. I could not be happier with the songs we have found to share with you. I promise you, this is going to be good."
In less than a month, the newest Homecoming videos will release, Homecoming Picnic and A Campfire Homecoming. Gaither says: "We had so much fun recording these videos because we basically created a big family reunion, then we turned on the cameras and captured the Homecoming family being themselves. Here are a few hints about what's inside these new releases.. there is a whole lot of great singing around the campfire, there are moments involving a dunk tank and some soaking wet artists (Vocal Band included), and I enjoyed being a kid again on the Ferris wheel with young Jake Hess the third. This reunion is different from anything we've done and it probably provides the very best glimpse possible of the artists and their families just enjoying time together."

The letter to fans also reveals that Gloria Gaither has just finished a new book called A Book of Simple Prayers. The work should be printed and available in May.
